Capital
Campaign
We launched our capital campaign in Jan 2011, and today we are over halfway to our Phase II goal. We've been blessed, but we still need your help. We are facing challenges that our growing success has created. Our Ministries are competing for space. Imagine a place where our children have classrooms. A place that has adequate storage for food/supplies for our outreach ministries. Prayerfully consider the value of your gift. Donate Now.
Capital
Campaign
Our fundraising thermometer indicates that we are over halfway to our Building Fund goal (400k-phase II). Praise God! But we don't want to lose momentum. Help us push that progress indicator steadily upward as we move closer to our vision. More space for our childrens classrooms, Soup Kitchen and overall facility will enable us to better serve the community. Prayerfully consider the value of your gift. Donate Now.
Adventist Youth Day
Making Your Mark
Youth Power Weekend is on Sabbath April 13 at MontclairSda. We will be blessed to have Pastor Marquis Johns of the Metropolitan SDA Church, Hyattville, Md, minister to us for the Divine Worship service. Join us later @4:30pm for "real talk" youth topics in an open panel discussion. Our theme is "Making Your Mark". Invite a friend and join us - all are welcome!
The Daniel Fast, 21 days
of Prayer & Fasting
The concept of the Daniel fast comes from Daniel 1:8-14, "But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine." After 10 days of eating his usual diet of fruits, seeds, nuts, whole grains & vegetables; Daniel & his friends "looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food." Our goal is to become physically, mentally & spiritually healthier as we seek a closer walk with Him thru prayer & fasting. Download flyer for more info.
Share the Hope,
Prepare for Glory
Feeling overwhelmed? Unloved? Unsure of the future? Life is a challenge, especially when financial, relationship or health issues confront us. But don't dispair. We have hope, the "blessed hope of Jesus Christ".
Come visit us one Saturday and let's study, fellowship and worship together.
Community
Services
For over 20 years, we've provided healthy free meals in our Soup Kitchen every Sunday (12-2pm). Quarterly, we partner with IHN to provide emergency shelter, meals and support services to displaced families. Periodically, we provide free health screenings, school supply giveaways & food/clothing drives. Each summer, we train youth & enrich their lives in our Life Skills Academy. Make a difference - volunteer.
| Want to be involved? There are a lot of opportunities to share your talents as a part of one of the ministries of our church. |
